John Boyd of Troy said he was driving his ABF tractor-trailer rig south on I-675 and heading to U.S. 35 when he noticed a man on the ground.
“He was laying on his back, next to the guardrail, on the pavement in the road,” Boyd said.
Boyd also said he used his truck to block traffic.
“They would have run over the guy,” Boyd said.
