Maybe, maybe not. I know when given a choice most do not want unions.
When the Wisconsin public sector workers were given not too long ago, many chose to leave the union.
Most trucking outfits have meetings with their employees & tell them how bad the union is & they dont need to waste money on union dues. From the drivers i talk with fed ex old d & estes all tell me that managment has these types of meetings every so often....It may not start out to be about the union but somewhere it gets brought up....
Then why did those public sector union members left the union when Walker gave them a choice?
I've worked non union jobs that gave their shpeil on the evils of unions, the anti union videos and all. I just rolled my eyes and ignored it. Most did.
People aren't stupid. But they also believe in privacy and the idea of a secret ballot.
I don't believe for a second the most union members will cross that line and intimidate. But some will. And those minority few will make the news and further ruin our already hurt image.
I also fear if card check ever becomes law, it will have the reverse affect than the intended effect. It could hurt us even more.

A question have answered a million times. I didn't know one had to be an anti-business, anti-pro growth lib to be a Teamster. For the millionth and 1 time. I believe unions have done good things, and could do good things. But a Socialist, MARXIST ideology has taken over the Teamster as well as most other unions, and thats what causing the downfall. And too many drones are following lock step in line.
I came on proud and excited to be a Teamster, till I realized what our union leaders were all about.
I know it didn't hurt ya. You take pride in that fact. You must being having a bad night, to come on here insulting me again. I know I know, your R-14's buddy, and he won't say anything to you for calling me a jackass, but I'll get warning for calling your Marxist union thug.
