Drunk tonight? Didn't get laid?
Funny question for one who's posts usually appear to have been composed by a drunken poster. Thanks for your concern but no need to worry about my sex life. Let's just say that I am not unhappy.
Sure is a lot of love for Stonehead around here. Now that I am jealous of. :hysterical:

Any thoughts about the rumor that Stoney & Joe the Plumber applied for a marriage license? And to the Board Moderator, if this question is to strong please let me know. Thanks

Na, its about as lame and childish as the union drone ABFer.

Funny thing, I was attempting to have a civil discussion, but you had to jump in and insult like a child. Typical of you.

To bad I have to work with Measters like you.

A question have answered a million times. I didn't know one had to be an anti-business, anti-pro growth lib to be a Teamster. For the millionth and 1 time. I believe unions have done good things, and could do good things. But a Socialist, MARXIST ideology has taken over the Teamster as well as most other unions, and thats what causing the downfall. And too many drones are following lock step in line.

I came on proud and excited to be a Teamster, till I realized what our union leaders were all about.

You're wrong about Teamsters being anti-business. Businesses are anti-Union. Go look on ALEC's web site. Go look at the agenda for the National Chamber of Commerce. Organized Labor stands in the way of their profit. I realize that you are so indoctrinated in the anti-Union/ Socialist/ Marxist propaganda that your thought process doesn't allow for debate on what you think is going on, could you possibly entertain the idea that you're being manipulated into thinking the way you do? Of course not! I hope you put your money where your mouth is, and you've applied for the Fair Share provisions of your dues money under the Beck laws....or, if you're in a Right-To-Work state, you don't pay any dues at all. Since you've divorced yourself from the Teamster's philosiphy, I would hope you're not being a hypocrite, and funding that very philosiphy with your dues money. Are you? It's a shame that you've lost your pride in Organized Labor. I'd suggest a few hours reading about the Haymarket Riots , or the Battle of Homestead, might reinstate that lost pride, and realize working people have been at war with Big Business for hundreds of years. It's not a new phenomenom with the election of Barak Obama....or even Bill Clinton,...for that matter. Reading is better for you, by the way. Books are either true, or they're not. They don't change once they're written. That would be unlike those who only get their information off of the internet, or talk radio. Those sources change constantly to adjust to whatever popular culture wants you to believe is true. That would be manipulation.....or propaganda. Take your choice.

The ALEC conspiracy is just as lame as the Obama being born in Kenya conspiracy.

Its really simple. Todays unions enorse higher taxes and needless regulations on business. That is anti-business and anti-progrowth.

I haven't lost pride in the theory organized labor. I just don't agree with the way unions go about their business. Again by policy they endorse.

We a President in Hoffa Jr who is s socialist. He has publicly endorsed universal health care. The Rocky Mountain Teamster news letter I get has some high ranking union official who also is s contributer who too as rallied for universal health care.
Last I checked, U.H.C. is a socialist program.

The constant class warfare game by the unions is a typical Marxist ploy. The separating people into classes to gin up devision is a typical Marxist tactic.

Now I do live in a RTW state. And technically I don't have to be in the union. But here's the deal. My pay, health & welfare and such were all negotiated by my union. I have no problem paying the union dues even though I don't have to.
Long as my union dues doesn't go to any political contribution and it doesn't. I do not contribute to D.R.I.V.E. for that reason.

Now should I leave? Sure. But in this economy and where I live, my options are extremely limited. Now if I could get my wife to move back to Texas, I would leave ABF and the union. But that ain't happening. She wants to be close to her family, so its here I stay.
There is absolutely nothing hypocritical by me staying. That's like saying I should leave the USA because I disagree with Obama and the current political ideology running this nation.

Now that's a good , honest answer. Obviously I disagree with you as far as ALEC is concerned. I think I've mentioned I'm a Political Action Committee Treasurer for our Local? I deal with quite a few of the local politicians sniffing for money. I've had a few discussions with politicians about ALEC. Yes they do write legislation, and yes they do fund politicians who accept the ALEC agenda. I've seen it in my state with the voter registration issue, the privatization of the state LCB issue, and I will see it with our own state voting on RTW very shortly. Some of our local Rep. State Legislators tell me they use ALEC as a "guide". ALEC isn't a conspiracy...it's a fact....no matter how badly they want to convince people they don't exist. Listening to the enablers on talk radio again? Unions don't endorse higher taxes and needless regulation. Unions do endorse businesses paying their fair share instead of being tax-exempt....and they do endorse businesses obeying the law. EPA laws that businesses appear to hate,...are reactive. In other words, the laws come into being AFTER a company has done some sort of damage to the environment.....not before. I believe the EPA was created after Hooker /Occidental Chemical created Love Canal in Buffalo N.Y......and not before. Businesses love not having to abide by costly EPA rules,....therefore they have factories in Bhopal, India, and all over China. By the way,...the smog in China is now visible from space. Mr. Hoffa....whom I don't care for, for a number of different reasons than you have,....has never proclaimed himself to be a "socialist". Many talk show hosts have put that label on him....are you taking their words for the truth again?.....And....what's wrong with Universal Health Care.....first proposed by those good Republicans Dwight Eisenhower and Richard Nixon? (Read your history)....would businesses paying health care tied to your employment, thereby ensuring a quiet and docile workforce (Yowsah, Boss! I'll do anything you say just to remain employed because I can't afford to lose my healthcare!)....have anything to do with businesses not wanting to get out of the healthcare business and letting the Government run the whole show, because then they lose iron control of the workforce? Universal Health Care seems to work in every other civilized nation in the world.....your health care isn't tied to your employment, therefore, you aren't owned by the companies. Ah,...that's right,...those are "socialist" countries,...like France and England and Germany and Canada, where they have no freedom. Sure seems like their Unions over there have quite a bit more freedom than we do, though. We're all sure here, though,...that nobody's lying to us about quality and price in the "socialist" countries,...right? ....if you bother to do some checking, the largest political party in the world is the Socialist party..........which means that millions of those infidel foreigners are duped stupid people....and since the word "socialist" has been demonized....by talk radio and Republican politicians, into something as low as a child molester...of course no one will take a second look at the history or the goals of so-called "socialists". Between WW1 and WW11, the American Socialist party was the third largest party in this country......far, far larger than the TEA party is today. So....nowadays socialism equals communism.......apparently.....and has nothing to do with average workers' rights or justice.....demonization does it's job well,....doesn't it? It's all a Marxist plot.....or at least, the people who will benefit most by having created a ready-made boogey man for you to blame all the ills on and deflect the blame from the true causers....why, they're more than happy to have you think it's a Marxist plot.......even though Marxism...the "Karl" kind, not the "Groucho" kind died out 80 years ago......but it's good to have a slogan for all those nameless, faceless injustices.....that way you don't have to actuallly think about it.......but you know what?...you and I both digress on the subject of this thread. Who's to blame for bringing politics into it? I'll take half, if you'll take the other half. Sorry, rest of posters. I'm off my soapbox, now, and I expect Stoney will be, too.

canary, you really need to shorten your posts, I can't pay attention that long anymore.

I'm sorry Brother. I tend to rattle on.......especially with my special "buddy" there. He brings out the curmudgeon in me.....

Yes, I feel your pain (in the ass). You are not the only 'buddy' he has. I ignore him for the most part.
