II am confused on ABF increasing the dollar amount paid in to the pension fund over the next 5 years based on the passed contract. In the contract language, does it say they have to increase the dollar amount? Or are they are not required to increase the amount paid to the fund? If they are required to increase payments to the Pension Fund, what is the amount? Does ABF get to choose the dollar amount, or do the Pension Fund / IBT get to choose the dollar amount paid in to the fund? Some @ work think the IBT makes the decision some think the company. I believe they are required to make any increase at all during the next 5 years. Please post the specific contract language to settle this discussion. Your help is appreciated. Thank you. von.
