OK here we go again. NP is a good company but so was Holland untill Yellow got a hold of them. Yellow had to let NP alone for 5 years they will now do to NP as they did to every one else. NP will not last under YRC sorry but this is the Yellow way.:ranting2::Flame-On:
 
All due to respect to my brothers ay New Penn, but before Holland started to interline our east coast freight with them, they were basically on their knees like everyone else.

where you comeing up with this" yellow had to let npme alone for 5 yrs. sh&t? besides that, sloppy, the dude you responding to,his quote, he is holland guy. npme will last, as will holland, as long as yrcw doesn't go down the drain. i see the rates and the split every night for freight comeing out of jersey going to upper mid west area. have been bringing back a direct load for holland to camp hill, for your guys to hook and go. one thing for sure, after 90 days, there will be alot less freight going back to mid-west , if npme is aloud to price the freight to be profitable. npme cut is pathatic on majority of the bills i see, but hollands cut at 20-30$ more has to also cover your line-haul costs,and that priceing is just a joke.i know you say it's all yrcw bringing you down, but revenue on 53' going to mid-west lucky to pay the tolls 100%,let alone what it's costing holland in line-haul cost. i don't know what you did at holland,but you would have to be dumb, deaf and blind not to see why holland was loseing money in the north east . before i retire for the day, let me make it clear that i am not bashing holland or any of the holland guys working or comeing into camp hill. i assume your like me ,hopeing ,we will all survive this sh&t econemy, and end up with our jobs, at the very least. but this is the npme site, so ,ask ,inquire and comment if you like, but don't talk the stupid sh%t that your brother sloppy like to talk.

Yeah maybe New Penn would survive without the freight. But with these terminals being sold like Hollands terminals who knows what is around the corner for you guys. With them integrating Yellow and Roadway and screwing with Holland so much the only thing that can be asked is who is next on plate...That would be New Penn. With your terminals being sold off to Pyle and being leased back the writing is on the wall. They had this all figured out to a "T" on how much the 10% give back would help them out. Now they wanna sell anything to try to stay afloat because they had a calculation problem.
 
i seriously doubt ABF buying NP but as we all can see, strange things are a happening. as for the comment about Holland's frt, you guys gotta remember, that's all the frt. Red Star used to get. when RS was in business, NP's frt levels were just fine. Holland frt. was not needed whatsoever. the execs who put RS out of biz had that frt. for over 2 years going to Land Air and other contractors before Yellow decided not to renew that contract therefore sending the frt. to us at NP. with this economy in the sh*tter, anything from USF is welcomed as it is on USF's end with frt. coming from us.

p.s. enough with the pot shots. grow up. we're wheel holders, not management !
 
I load city in Memphis. Been noticing New Penn's pro's increasing daily coming across our dock. I make it a point to put you guys frt on the street early and to make service a must. Noticed a lot of lift-gate frt. Not complaining by any means, keep it coming.

finally a positive thought. Thanks for doing the little bit extra grizz. If everyone would think as you do maybe this can be a good relationship, like it was with wilson. The loads coming into balto. In the am either have holland headers or most holland freight tail loaded so it can be worked quickly.

Where do you get your info that yellow had to leave newpenn alone for 5 years? Why do you think Steve O left? because yellow was controlling things from the beginning, thats why.

Call me stupied but didn't Yellow when buying Big R agree to leave it alone for 5 years. Hay like everybody else Iwant NP and Holland around for a long time read old posts from your NP brothers doom and gloom is coming. Sorry but this is the way I see it. As far as Steve O. It's like any other top brass when co. is bought out leave or get escorted out.
