I was in Charlotte a couple weeks ago and over heard a driver in there say he was 78!

Typical "table top trucker" talk. Pretty soon the story will be he was 85........then a week later, 90.

It's too bad he died....but it's still better than dying a slow, painful, dehumanizing death in a hospital bed with cancer.
We all die.....but some deaths are a lot more merciful than others.

Today at the truck stop they was saying he was 91 yrs and a pacemaker and using a oxygen tank and slipped on some grease leaking from the tipped over truck with is WALKER !!

Funny thing is some guys won't retire , we still got some old guys driving , last i heard there was a line haul guy 71 years old still driving !!

MI has at least one city driver in his 70's

Everyone has an opinion,just like they have different situations in life. I have run into guys in their 70's ,close to 80 that just still enjoy being out on the road,have little or no family, so trucking is their retirement....
