As of Friday evening, only the truck driver, Alfred Cruz, 55, of Portage, Ind., had been identified. The people in the van were all members of an extended family from Minnesota, according to a highway patrol statement, and all were taken to the hospital even though only six were believed injured, two seriously.

Troopers described Mr. Cruz’s injuries as life-threatening. He was listed in fair condition Friday evening at St. Vincent.

Two things to do today. Pray and reflect.
Say a prayer for the family in the van that was struck that they all recovery quickly, especially the child and the passenger who is pregnant
Say a prayer for our driver who appears to be seriously injured. Say a prayer for his family too.
Reflect - all of us in every aspect of the company- on how we can help prevent accidents like this in the future.
Arriving home safely - all of our drivers and those who we share the road - is something that we all should work toward together.

Ia Cruz is a real nice person and kept himself in great shape.

When we had the North Lima bid, he would run 10 miles on the treadmill at the motel. His good shape will be very helpful to his recovery. Many prayers for everone involved!

I was able get some info on Al Cruz. He's on a ventilater due to a colapsed lung and he has a broken collar bone. And considering the severity of the accident, much bruising.

Al is home and doing as well as can be expected !
