heard that terminal is so bad guys are showing up to work with guns ? than I heard Mack caught some one taking a crap in a dropped trailer on camera? suppose to have turned that into an A/C but from what I hear their loosing accounts left and right due to service issues.. any comments I have been thinking about putting in an app since pay starts at 21.00 an hour tops at 23.00, but I don't want to get shot at work or have to run a (CRAPPY) trailer:1904: maybe someone can shine some light on this??? I need some one else's version other than the guy I've been talking too.

They carried guns in the yard in Cleveland, Ohio in the 1980's with CF

allentown is a great facility and in a pretty good area actually. they have Dave from Cleveland running the terminal and it is clicking. I think they are hiring because of new account they landed.

Get in there and find out for yourself. Third party info is usually wrong.

Maybe he should where a bullet proof vest and riot gear???

He said he don't want to get shot at work.
    Sounds like he thinks right.
Maybe he should drive to Reading and work at New Penn......It takes almost 5 months to make the list though, so maybe he should wait till Easter.

It was run very well when I was in and out of there about a year ago. The place is in a good area actually a real new budiness park. What I saw was a really well maintained facility. Guys actually cared and had 3-4 guys blow off the dust with leaf blowers every night. Check it out for yourself. CT is a real job. I can not complain much.. I make good money.... but you know what they say everybodys got an opinion and an @--$----.

The best piece of advice I can give you is this....Give it your best shot if your tired of the road. Every man's tolerance is different and perhaps you will be OK with them. Don't be influenced by things you read on here. Give it your best shot and decide for yourself. If you find things are not acceptable then make a change ASAP.....Don't waste your time at a company your not happy with. Life is too short.

If you have 15 years and a good record you can go anywhere. Almost all the other LTL companies pay much more.

ABF has a terminal in Allentown (Foglesville I think). You might want to check with them.

If you have been on the road for 15 years, the one thing I'll tell you is no matter what company and what anyone tells you , LTL is a totally different beast from otr, the ONLY thing ltl has in common with OTR is we both hold a steering wheel, besides that nothing is the same, have seen a lot of OTR drivers come and go in LTL, they take it like you to get off the road and then find out how much work it really is, then go find a truckload local job.
