You are kidding right? Hell half the LTL company's have started their own driving schools because they can't fine drivers. Here in the Midwest almost every LTL is overing a sign on bonus. Estes and OD are using Trillium staffing to find drivers.

I know everyone is having to train dockworkers and use job boards and so forth for recruiting, but in central Ohio all I've heard of in terms of sign-on bonuses is that Central Transport and Saia are offering them and actively advertising that fact. You said "every LTL out there" has sign-on bonuses. Not true, not here anyway.

Certain markets are tighter, sure. It's surprising though that top companies would use temps. That's a recipe for disaster. Most temps aren't up to the demands of LTL freight.
