well certain cwx terminal had another accident this time up in eldorado hills ca. the driver forgot to set his brakes , and the new truck 532-5060 went down hill and crashed into the eldorado municapal airport and then flipped on its side, flatten the trailer and side of the truck .no planes where smashed or any one else hurt. the driver was not hurt . according to the FOS the driver said he set the brakes , but the preliminary may show other wise. hope it was mechanical the truck just got out of the shop
 
are you sure it was an 05 tractor or a 95 tractor, they still use the 95s for p&d, and close line runs.. if its a new truck...hes canned, unless your SCM can put his *** on the line...Dont worry, we had a new city unit get hit by a train and the driver kept his job..

It goes off a point system?dollar value. so it is not fact that he/she will lose their job!
 
What BS. He didn't set his brakes. If an air line was leaking, missing, broken, etc., the brakes would have automatically applied.....

oh yeah it 17000,00 on her :bicycle: it was a 05 we dont have any 95 around at the terminal they are gone
 
the newer the truck the more the liability. meaning if it was a 1995 tractor, it was "paid" for long ago. a 2005 tractor on the other hand, still has some "paying off" to do. therefore, the bigger the overall value of the unit, dictates how many points you will get.
