10'6 is the clearance. The signs are there for trucks. If we all pay attention, these would be avoided. My GPS takes me through roads with low bridges all the time, but it is my responsibility to avoid those roads. We truckers needs to pay close attention to the signs. Wow!
The 15mph rule does not apply to low bridges.
You would think they could put a 10ft 6in. HIGHT BAR the same as the bridge about 25 ft in both directions BEFORE the bridge, make it out of solid ALUMINUM with sign and flashing lites on top. if one side just breaks away on impact with the other side HINGED that would get their attention without causing any debris being tossed in the roadway. That would be better than hitting and getting jammed under that bridge.
Not a bad idea. Even if they do that, you will be surprised how many more wouldn't notice until they are under the bridge
It certainly does! think he should have his speedometer calibrated?
But breeze we would have to clear that with Wong because he always saying TURN THE F____ TRUCKS UP
Did any body read the story???
"This bridge has been a big problem in the past"
They blame the bridge...
Drive safe and remember to look up (left, right, 360 around).
I have done some tree trimming for the city myself.
