Yellow | Anyone been laid off yet

Been laid off in Paducah from the road board. Daym and I thought I was protected under the change since I transfered in there from CGb.

In TXR supposed to have 5. One has never turned a wheel, one gets maby 2 days a week, one gets maby 3-4 days a week, one gets a day off once every other week, and #1 takes off so the others can have a shot at working. Aint this "high speed" network thing just GREAAAT?????

We've been working 1 day a week and Yellow doesn't want to lay any more guys off (we have about 5 laid off,maybe more) since they expect freight to jump this week...well, here it is Friday and I'm nowhere near being called.

Its funny that Yellow doesn't want to lay more people off. They want you to be available and hang around the phone all week long waiting for a call that never comes. Our Terminal Manager (TM Ed. M/LCP) recalled the lay offs for Labor day weekend, worked them 3 punches + Holiday and then the same week, laid them off again! Talk about ignorance. Whats really funny is that I'm sure the guys pumped freight like crazy in there because of all the brainwashing like "Oh we're gonna get real busy" and so on.
