What happned to protecting the rights of the minorities?

There are far more patients in the nervous hospital then doctors.
That doesn't mean the doctors are wrong does it?

I was inaadvertingly proving that we live in a Constitutional Republic, and not a Democracy. Constitutional Republics are run by laws. Democracies are two lions and a lamb voting on what's for dinner. For instsnce, in a Democracy, Gay Marriage would be outlawed, since it was opposed by 70% in states where it was voted on. It was the 14th Amendment and unelected judges who 'made law' and forced a Federal Standard (in spite of the 10th Amendment).

Democracies protect only the desires of 50% plus 1. No Rights are protected. They change with the whim of the voters.

The leftists are proud to display their utter ignorance on a daily basis. They have no problem playing the role as a useful idiot for the Democrat party. "Willfully ignorant",....... meaning they don't want to know the truth.

"Beware of false knowledge, it is more dangerous than ignorance" George Bernard Shaw

I'll admit it. I was once a Democrat. My union leaders told me to be. They said "Democrats are good". My mistake was believing what my union "puppet master" was saying. My last political mistake was when I voted for Democrat Jimmy Carter in 1976. I learned from that mistake.

I'm in the same boat in a way, I was never a democrat being a country kid from a conservative area I never understood the democrat ideology. My dad always said "son your a white male you have two options, go to work or go to jail" and know one owes you nothing except the pay for the time you worked (the old man passed on a lot of wisdom in the milking parlor). My union pushes the democratic line on us all the time, the do support republicans in the state races some but never nationally. With the exception of right to work (which I'm not in favor of) I can't see where the democrats do anything for the "working man", the republicans don't care either but there's more they're in favor of than the democrats that I agree with. I've told my union leaders that maybe the democrats could be better for us in the short term but what country will we be left with because of the other stuff they want to push through? So for the time being I'm still a republican, conservative republican which puts me in the minority of the party but that's where I am.

I do find it interesting in conversation and this board exemplifies it that I can defend my position to anyone without insulting anyone but the left can't.

I'm in the same boat, I went to a union meeting before the election, and they started preaching about hillary, and how evil trump was. I called the guy out on schilling for ms. Nafta, and his stuttering started. I'm in the uaw, you wouldnt believe the bs they put out as "facts".

"The most violent element in society is ignorance" (aka Democrats)
    Emma Goldman author
--Where were the violent, flag burning demonstrations by Republican supporters when Obama was elected (twice)?
--When did George W. Bush ever encourage demonstrations by anybody when Obama won?
--When did most of the Republican House and Senate boycott the inauguration of Obama?
--Which well known celebrity and Republican supporter threatened to "Blow up the White House after Obama won election?

We are run by the donors who buy the Congress people.
No sense in thinking we are better than that

Robert De Niro snaps at wife for 'spending all my money'

    She's black.....he's a ******. Guess he voted for Trump

A source tells the paper that, in a moment of frustration, De Niro boiled over while bickering with Hightower in public at a Manhattan bar, telling her, “I wouldn’t have to keep making s - - tty movies if you didn’t spend all my money!”

    http://www.foxnews.com/entertainmen...-snaps-at-wife-for-spending-all-my-money.html

De Niro is like Springsteen, we loved them 40 years ago but they've outlived their usefulness.
