The guys I see from my termanal that are pro union are the ex- union guys that lost thier jobs when the union forced their other companies out of buisness and the lazy azz people who want to hide behind the union so they don't have to put in a honest days work !!!! Just my opinon....

I'm still looking for a company that the union ran out of business. Stupid me,I thought it was poor management after deregulation and survival of the fittest. UPS (UNION ) buys out ovtn (NON-UNION) . I must be looking at this wrong. A union company should be going out of business, not expanding. Go figure.

Im still looking too. I heard it was also the Union's fault for the countries defecit, the war in Iraq and rising fuel prices

In our contract it's a fair days work for a fair days wage. The only one's not living up to that are the sup's(your probably one), and they dont have a contract. :smilie_132:

All of us at MC would still have a job even if Union Pacific never purchased us. UP pushed us under Overnite just before the let go. I don't agree with the "loser Overnite symbol" remark.

All of us at MC would still have a job even if Union Pacific never purchased us. Union Pacific pushed us under Overnite and made them our parent company just before they let O go. As for the "loser Overnite symbol" I don't agree with that remark.

Easy brother, I was on your side. Just used your last post to follow up with on that nut job who thinks Union are the blame for every companies failure. And I wasnt calling you a sup, the other guy.

In all fairness the union does have lazy drivers that probably push it a little more because of the union. But most are real professionals.

You telling me that nonunion don't have lazy drivers. If I could I would start naming some.

I agree......there Skeeter. I have worked both Union and non union jobs. In freight, in industrial, and in the public. But workers, no matter who you work for, are all about the same. You have good workers and not so good. Some can't seem to come to work and others are there every day. Some like to kiss up to the boss and others can't even say "good morning". Union leaders only have one thing in mind. Grow their membership and do the best they can for them. Everyone has an opinion.....good and bad. You cannot make everyone happy, Union or non union. Just my thoughts. DS.
