OK according to our 120 transplants at 671, the "big shots" were at 120 for the past couple of days. Does anyone have any news from their meetings. Rumor was the announcement of maybe closing (I hope not) of 120. DS.

They're not coming till next week, the 27th and 28th. He wouldn't come and close us in person , he'd send an email to do that. They must be coming to go deer hunting in the poconos since its the first day of buck season here.

You'd think we would have seen them. God forbid if they introduced themselves.
Well I gotta say, if they were here and we didn't hear any news, then its probably bad news forthcoming.

Their closing 120 to build a casino, applications where handed out for employment to work there. Teamsters will have the right to hold seniority and vacation days. Working out the details on the name thou. More to come about this on channel 69 news!

I was told today that 120 got a fresh coat of paint and some paving was going on??? My source is usually right on, according to him! You guys see any improvements going on? DS.

DS, you might want to look for a better source for the info you recieve. Ever terminal gets rewarded a certain amount of money for improvements. 120 ever 2-3 years paves certain sections of the yard and paints docks etc...We're told they will be doing this again, sometime in near future. Toledo is doing maintance right now, paving etc..

The "turtle" tells me the big wigs will be there Monday. Let us know if anything comes from it. DS.

Tell the turtle to shave his back, source is wrong again. Big wigs coming tuesday around 9:00 am to introduce himself and check 120 terminal out. Then we'll move onto Kearny, Carlstd, Sommersville terminals and anywhere on his 2 day stay.

You know,I've heard the rumor of us getting some freight back. Wondering if any of it is true. Funny thing, its been from other terminals that I hear this.

Serta, thats coming from the big 3 at 120. I'm looking for one of them once I get the call for update of the round table. Also combining city ops into inbound is one of their objectives.

I heard that Buffalo was gaining 40 more jobs from 120.I heard that from both a driver and a relay dispatcher.Who knows it could be more B.S.

For what is it worth. I have heard that the change back at the first of the year has not gotten them the results that they were looking for.

Ummm, yeah, your source sux. Were closing agusta, me. Job allocation is 4 to Buffy. Your driver and relay dispacher are either bogus are just dumb.:hysterical: :biglaugh: No intention of berating you, that is the cold hard facts as posted on our wall from the company and union.

Same here toxic. Hear this change in the east is costing them something like 4 million a night to run empty on the weekend with the satelites.:duh:
What I'd like to know, honestly, is how much is each satellite terminal running a night? I know for a while they were running very light for a while, are they running more full now a days? Just curious, cause if it takes an extra hour or two to stop at a break, and fill up, seems cost effective to me. Just not sure why its more cost effecient, to send it 300+ miles to akron to seperate, when it can go less then a 100 and be direct loaded anywhere in the country.

I hope your right serta.I would hate to see 120 take a hit like that because their a lot of good pepole down there including yourself.I'm just relaying the message as i heard it.I guess somebody added a zero after the four, and as usual things got twisted up.
