Averitt | big theft over the Memorial Holiday Weekend in Montgomery, AL

They sent out a message to look out for 2 truck and trailer numbers...must have been a big one...
 
our br mgr had a safety meeting on Thurs/Friday & told us that the long Memorial Day w/e was one of the most vandalized/theft prone days of the year. We had a bulletin distributed that said 3 trailers,2 tractors and goods worth about $375,000 stolen from the yard right off I-85..I am told you can see the entire yard from the interstate?
 
I saw that msg....WHAT!!!!!, If they have not recovered the tractors..they are probally in many small peices inside a container. The montgomery yard is set up with a card reader gate for after hrs and weekend entry/exit...something is not right,most of our T/L trailers have tracking devices. Inside Job maybe????
 
I am glad that this was.communicated to a handful of folks. Like most important info, we heard zilch about this at my house from our so intelligent terminal manager. This is the first I heard of it.
