The purpose of this thread is not to smear Bradley Jacobs or hurt him , but to maybe find out a little more about the CEO who controls XPO.

Even though XPO is a publically traded company , decisions one way or another will boil down to what this man wants. You may not be able to control what he decides but you might understand WHY he decided that way.

Here is an explanation of why you may want to know something about Bradley Jacobs.
What interest is his religion to me. Get a life guys it's a job.

If you like this company and you want to stay here , and maybe have some idea of the direction that XPO is headed in , Bradley Jacobs would be a good place to look , right?

Think about it - what he wants , we get. His influence was SO strong we threw away the Con-way brand. He likes XPO. What else does he like or want?

The more you know about someone.....like maybe the person who owns the company you work for...the better understanding you'll have pertaining to the future of the company. Certainly doesn't mean we'll know everything,...but some knowledge helps. Of course, some of us are too busy to care,,,and are probably more concerned which or what type of truck we're driving....,,what rumors we can spread.....or just worrying and bitching about others ....and stuff old Brad might have or have not said.

Fred Smith CEO FedEx

Meets at Trump Tower with President-Elect

"Mr. Smith met with President-Elect Trump, whom he has known for many years, and others involved in the transition. Mr. Smith is not a candidate for a cabinet position," FedEx spokesman Patrick Fitzgerald said.

Wonder how Mr. Jacobs feels about Trump? How will Trump being elected impact what Mr. Jacobs wants to do with XPO Logistics?

He said on Mad Money that Clinton was good for XPO. We will see how this all plays out. Massive growth this year. This guy is all about making money. Stock is back up over $40. He is going to make it do what he needs it to.

He likes his money alot and plans on keeping it!

His focus when it comes to XPO is solely on that share price and what moves it higher. He may be a great guy, very personable and a good family man but when it comes to XPO it's what effects that share price and share holder value.

I started this thread because of how little is known as far as the intentions , connections , and political affiliations of Brad Jacobs. What you wrote could be true - but few of us know. What we do know is based on what we are spoon fed through social media , photo ops , and staged events.

He is entitled to his private life and keeping his social and political views private. There is very little info out there about this just for this reason so politicians, investors and employees can't make judgement.

I would agree with you to a certain extent.
But Brad Jacobs is the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of a company that has 86,000 full time employees , at last count. At some point , what's on his mind , and in his heart matters. He runs this place.

What direction a Chief Executive wants to head in matters and their personal preferences can ( and do ) have an impact on every employee and their families and dependants.

As I've stated before , Con-way became XPO Logistics simply because this is what Brad Jacobs wanted. It doesn't matter how much money it cost to rebrand or how much history or brand equity was built into Con-way , Brad Jacobs wanted something else. What else does he want?

P.S. - It may not seem fair or right to want to know deeper info about Brad Jacobs , but look at his peers and you'll find there's more available information relative to what they want to do with the companies they lead.

Sometimes the jobs we hold have impacts on our private lives. CDL holders can only have half the blood alcohol level as everyone else - even off the clock.

The Bloomberg Billionaires Index values Jacobs’s personal fortune at more than $1.4 billion, including funds from prior stock sales, and real estate in Connecticut and Florida. He declined to be interviewed and to comment on his net worth.

A few excerpts from Bloomberg article

The next deal, he (Bradley Jacobs) hints, may not be that far away.
