California family awarded 9Mil.in the death of their son in 2014 when a trucker ran over 10 cars.

I didn't see the full account of the case in the article but that is a hell of a lot of money. Hey, what do they expect to get driving a truck when the pay and conditions are what they are.
 
They said the trucking company went bankrupt after this settlement.
Just another something a trucker has to think about in the course of their job.
