Hi, I am wondering if anyone here can tell me if the position of casual dockworker at UPSF is good or not? I have been trying to get on with another LTL company but haven't heard anything. I have a Class A CDL but I will need a couple more endorsements before I can drive. I was told at first I would be able to move some trailers around the yard or possibly drive on the weekends. My main concern is the reviews about this company are either awful or fairly decent. I figured a company in the UPS family would have better reviews but that isn't the case from what I've seen. Would this be a good way to become a full time employee or would I be part time forever? I know it depends on the needs but I'd like to become full time in around a year or two. What do you guys think?

It's a foot in the door. Starting pay sucks. Get your endorsements work hard and when a position comes take it.
