(caution) this is a video of announcer, getting hit at show just went to a monster truck show couple of weeks ago with kids. prayers go out to the family of announcer and families there to see and explain this to their kids..

I saw that on the nightly news also.. The promoter could have walked into one of the drivers blind spots....

It was definitely in a blind spot. It's kinda like someone 5' tall walking in a cross walk right against your hood...you can't see them. I guess the guy thought the trucks were already clear when he came out. I went to Monster Jam last weekend, and am glad nothing major happened there.
