It becomes obvious that some companies choose to do things different than their competitors.

Also, I will never believe that any one decision by a company will cause it to implode and cease to exist i.e. computer usage or lack thereof by road drivers. It certainly would seem to enable us to dispatch out correctly the first time.

However, that is not what we have to work with and therefore, because of certain decisions by the company to measure our transit times, we drivers as a group seem to have chosen to arrive ourselves via the IVR (interactive voice response) system now in place that is accessible by cellphone. The purpose is to "show" our arrival time as soon as is possible. This does reflect on our job performance. Again that is what we have to work with, not necessairly what we would choose.

Having gone through the long winded explanation now to the matter at hand. Hippo, you have covered your apology with an additional insult. Are you angry with Saia in general or the drivers in particular?
