Thanks for posting the article. I heard an older Teamster say years ago when government took over the union that the rank & file would suffer. He said when the mob controlled investments in casinos & brothels we had a secure pension fund. I don't know of anything the government has controlled that made a profit.

That is very true. we would be so fat in property in Las Vegas to fund our problems.
 
I would imagine that the article opens everyone's eyes to the fact that Wall Street bankers are literally the enemy of working people. Since they don't produce anything, they have to take from us paupers so they can live like princelings.

I predict the next big scandal to unfold will be with the manipulation of 401(K)'s. You think that money is safe when there's absolutely no Federal oversight or safety net?

If they can cheat working people out of a Federally backed PBGI insured retirement.......I damn sure betcha they're already running through private 401(K)'s like rats through a grain elevator........

And,....in this election season,........ Any politician who takes money....(thank you Citizens United vs. the FEC).....is a facilitator helping Wall Street steal from working people once elected.

After lobbying for removal of the 50 year old Glass-Steagel Act,........Sen. Phil Gramm(R) of Texas retired from the Senate and went to work for Goldman-Sachs. Quid Pro Quo?

And Donald Trump,.....and Ted Cruz,.....and Pat Toomey,........and Paul Ryan,........and John Kasich,......In fact, the entire Republican party,....with few exceptions,.....has been subverted to the Chamber of Commerce. They truly believe what's good for business is good for America. Any Saudi Arabian oilman,....in an honest moment,.......will tell you that's not true.

Watch this scandal unfolding with the Panama Papers in the Virgin Islands..............Thousands of so-called "American" corporations have been cheating the American people out of their fair share of tax dollars.........Simple solution,.....If you don't like paying taxes here,....don't do business here.

And,....in the case of Ford now investing 1.6 billion in Mexico to build a car plant there, and sell the cars here,.......They should be taxed heavily for every American laid off out of a Ford plant from now on. Let the Mexican employees buy those Ford cars,......
