everyone wants to dump on yrc but dollar bill has a point about pension funding. but one thing he should say is yrc is not paying its share to the fund for yrc employees because of his bad management.
he wants bail out money. and claims he is paying pension for people to that never worked for yrc. which is not true.

Well If he did not want to pay the funds that he and YRC owes the why did they even sign a contract??? What is the point even if they knew they could not afford it instead of making the membes pay for their misjudgements. Shut the door and be done with it before you drag everyone down too.

You are right, he pays to the fund and the fund pays us. break this apart and watch the funds fail for sure. all active companies pay into the fund, YRCW is mismanaged, the other companies, like abf seem to make payments, may not like it but the come up with it. If the MEPFs are so bad, they why did YRC buy Roadway/New Penn & USF Holland? Surely YRC new that they were members of the Teamster's Pension Funds and carried withdrawal obligations.
