    YRC Change of Operations March 13 2013 - Truckingboards Truck Driver Forums


    "NOTE: There will not be a COO hearing on 3/20/13, nor is there one scheduled for April while "TNFINC is reviewing various substantive and procedural issues involved with the proposed change" as per memo sent to IBT Locals today, after the COO was released......KK"

    109 road guys without jobs ?????? cost savings wait we cant hire anyone lol writing has been on the wall since last give back wake up be ready to move on ( end 2014 or before contract 2015 ) end is getting closer sadly just like last change the company knows that 200 plus are out of job cause ( 109 dont have a job) half or more wont move ..........savings on 200 plus road guys 25 million a year.. not including mechanics, dock , city will be..................all the managment promotions and there where alot are raises to keep them here from jumping ship and most those guys are close to retiring or are guys who where retired that came back, get the picture think................there here until they close the doors in 16 to 24 months ....................................... have been saying this since last give back the sighns are there and dont see anything to change it either that we wont make it all the way to 2015 contract

    Indy 324 is finally getting back the jobs they took away in last years COO now hopefully they can finally get some of us called back to work

    This COO will be my last. Dock worker in Cincy/241. I'm not moving. It was great working with you.

    You might get a free move via the "pool" to a new and interesting domicile, from which you can "quit," take a "layoff" or "retire."

    This is the true definition of kicking a gift horse in the mouth! WE have given up tens of thousnads of dollars, reduced pensions and given up a weeks of vacation over the years and this is what we get.........to all of you YES men I hope you finally see the moral of the story.

    He doesn't know how many spots you'll lose. And 324 is gaining a lot of work. I think you'll be fine.

    And just what is the moral? That YRCF will NOT roll over and die? We're closing 29 terminals. That will cut an enormous amount of operating overhead. Everyone better hope we make it.
