Thinking of all down there.
Only word I can come up with is terrible.
Is the Houston barn underwater too ? and if so are they making Driver's use sick-vac. days or what ? and what is YRCW and Welch & Hoffa doing to help the city out ??
Doesn't matter if it's underwater. Even if it wasn't they couldn't possibly go in.
That city is shut down. And if you want to get paid. Sick. Days or vacation.
I'm sure they have other things that are more important than yrc to worry about.
That choked me up. I'm going to repost. Thanks
Terminal is flooded.
They call it a "Act Of God Layoff"
Who cares about the terminals.....I want those who can, check in with us here and let us know how you are.
i used to work at the roadway terminal in houston back in 2000- 01 the parking lot where we parked are cars would flood a couple times a year easily. I'm pretty sure the terminal got it this time and the bathrooms downstairs.
Always a Truck line willing to haul the cheap freight even in rain !!
Super Trucker's !!
Will there be a trucking company willing to haul water out?
I would be willing to go to Huston to work freight as soon as it opens up , provided company lodges me. Just so workers there don't have to come to work till they get there home life back in order.
I bet ther
there's a load of those LL Bean canoes in that flooded semi.
Or Old Town.
Yrc can't all the trailers have holes in them
