Went from one of the largest bill counts per day to one of the lowest in the entire Averitt system. As you guys know CHI lost lakeville motor freight. CHI use to get about 10 extra trailers a day which was 200+ bills added to the averitt system daily. They used 20+ forklifts and still didn't have enough fork lift @ times for all the dock workers. For the drivers who visited CHI know all the forklifts we have compared to most of the Averitt docks. As the result of loosing LME they laid off about 21 part timers between the two shifts. Some who needed the job and some who was iffy on the job.

At the same time they LOST full timers who jumped ship and went right to LME when they opened there own terminal. (People all over the place.. mechanics, office ladies, dock workers, yard dog spotters left for LME) Right now they have about 8 full timers per shift who aren't getting 8 hours a day. This was a 24-7 hour almost dock operation location when LME was here. Its very sad what happened here. Some people think Averitt catered to much to LME customers while kicking our own in the ass which they did. They would put off putting AVT freight on the street just to fit LME freight onto the CITY trailer. This went on day after day for 3+ years and the AVRT customers most likely got pissed off and left us. There are other reasons im sure also.
Drivers are getting fed up and im sure are looking for work @ other companies now.
NIL terminal is the same and averitt has worked with them in this time of need and routed some MWK freight into there CITY runs.

I guess we have to stick in there.
