    Hello I'm looking for info on the Cleveland terminal I'm thinking about coming to work there for linehaul. I have a bunch of questions but the biggest one is if I come to work now at this time of year will I get layed off after Christmas?

    I don't think so, at least based on what I've seen in Columbus. I worked every day my first winter in the city as well as my first winter on linehaul. When it's slow they post a sheet offering CC days and the senior drivers jump on those opportunities. Days off or layoffs were never forced on junior drivers at my barn. I was told they don't hire drivers if they don't plan on using them. It's not a layoff-happy kind of company.

    Well thanks for the info, I would hate to come to work for a few months and then get laid off. So far everything I've heard about Dayton sounds great looking forward to being part of the team.

    Well coondogg looks like i will not be joining the team Dayton told me they are not intested.
