Con-way Freight, a less-than-truckload freight carrier and subsidiary of Con-way Inc., announced that professional truck driver Efrain Gomez has reached his two-millionth accident-free mile.
That represents approximately 20,000 trips of his current route between Fontana and Temecula, Calif. Con-way officials honored Gomez for his achievement at a recent ceremony at the company's Fontana, Calif., service center. He logged the miles between 1985 and 2006.
A native of Los Angeles, Gomez has driven professionally for Con-way Freight for 23 years.
