02 losing freight to 03 & 14
Any details ? 14 is pretty far from 02
Not enough bodys at 02
Looks like all the greed & mou's the company needs is starting to catch up with them, same can be said at ABF no one beating down the door for these jobs...
did 02 get a new manager recently???
Im hearing new tm in the works at 02. Current tm ready to quit or already quit
Where is 02?
reading PA. is the guy you mean named Dave???
It has definately hit them as far as finding people to take jobs they need to fill. New Penn feels it more than the other companies owned by YRCF as it is supposed to be an overnite company.
Is he going over to A. Doggy Pyle?
could be anyone know whos running 02 now??
we lost a tm .plus losing a driver a week no one stays many retirements in the next few months ...basically screwed in new england
TM says he's going back to college. Red Star alumni is here. They're making a big mistake. If ya can't run it out of reading you won't run it out of anywhere else. Poorest city in the nation but nobody comes to fill the spots. When they do they want to set their own hours.
Up the pay and pension. Get rid of the 53's and we all make money again.
Send me a million for that idea.
Giving millions to Overland Park loses ya money.
Maybe the customers will stay open till 11pm for them. That oughta make all city drivers leave by maybe 1pm on their runs in the whole system.
Sounds like somebody's trying to come up with a quick bonus for themselves idea. After they look like they really had a great idea and get their bonus...the company will continue on the slippery slope.......but hey, they got their bonus for the bright idea right?
I have a great idea. Let's take the terminal closest to Lehigh Valley where industrial Parks are going pretty strong(Fedex Ground is building the worlds biggest hub there) and cut it in half. Sound like a plan?
Which area has added and built THE MOST truck docks in the last 3,5,7,10,and 15 years? Lehigh and Northampton counties most probably. Huge DC'S everywhere. Why would somebody paid to move freight even consider cutting the terminal closest to that?
The Teamsters should send training guys over to teach drivers. We can't afford the time to teach when we are swamped everyday. They sure as hell take the time for special suit and tie affairs to ask us to help the company when they need it.
The Lancaster bids were all 8hr guys but a few.....new 9hr bids in Camp Hill most probably.
Somebody from Lancaster has a cheap big house toward Camp Hill....rumor has it 15 guys are gonna rent it and work over there ....they don't work 9hour bids though. Make room.
They like the road. And they like 8 hour bids. And they all have over 20 years seniority. There'll be some bumping going on.
Largest in PA, not the world
Largest in the US. Big news on radio yesterday. Full operation by 2018.75,000 packages/hour. Hiring 600+ people.
They talked it up as largest in the world when conceiving the plan.
