I have driven this highway several times when traffic was heavy but there was little traffic this time. Clearly the truck was inside the lane markers. A guess would be the SUV driver was distracted unless it was hit & forced into the truck. The SUV appeared to hit the truck at about a 90 degree angle which would be consistent with being hit from the side.
