Not much noise over here at good old Averitt.
Extremely sad and pathetic.

I think higher salaries would be a better way to get and keep people.
I also think that if AE would go back to starting benefits on day one, like it used to be, more people would consider coming onboard.
The trend at this yard is, employees are hired off the street (no or little experience) or off the dock, get their experience and leave for app 8 to10 cents more per mile. The top of our board is stable however at some point the ones at the top will not be here anymore. More money will help with retention of the new employees.
The puppeteers in Kookville have instructed the puppets running the terminals around the sad system to remove as many long term employees as they can so as not to have to pay benefits, vacations etc.
2.5 years Averitt free and I could not be happier. Should have left back in the 90's. Worst run management team of any I have ever seen. $2750 referral bonus...What an f'ng joke.
