Yup I have been on my cruises and that's what they do, a truck pulls up the drive pallet Jacks to the back and a forklift drops it on the ground so the chef can double check everything and cops have dogs that sniff each pallet too. Then then drive it right into the ship. And it's not uncommon for them to load back up with some fresh supplies at each stop. Fuel is done the kind of the same way but with large tankers and they usually only have like 8 hours before they leave again
