Holland | CSA 2010 Information

Thanks KK, and that link to the local ultimately leads to a site with a lot of good information but it should be known that that site (csa2010.com) has an agenda to sell their training program. Not that that is all bad it's just that you should keep in mind that they do have an agenda to make money.
Here is the official FMCSA website Motor Carriers & Drivers
And here is a pdf that outlines it pretty well although it is very dry reading.http://csa2010.fmcsa.dot.gov/Documents/SMSMethodologyVersion1_2Final_2009_06_18.pdf
Especially interesting is the 60 some pages of point violations at the end of the document.
Here is a page on the OOIDA website that has a pretty large question and answer on it. Regulatory Call for comments
I still cant find any outlining of intervention limits or methodologies.

Looks like the first you will know about a problem is when you get a letter or a visit. And, according to the Q&A on the OOIDA page there are currently no provisions to make your personal data available for your review.
This is going to affect linehaul drivers more than anyone else.
This is all based on accidents and roadside inspections.
Heck I have only crossed a scale a handfull of times since I have been here.
Someone who crosses a scale multiple times a day has a much greater chance of buidling up points than I do.
This is a bad thing.
