sealing your trailer has nothing to do with it, who is to say when you sealed it
it has EVERYTHING to do with it,,,,, read your FMCSA rules.......
if you are overweight ect. and the trailer is sealed BEFORE pulling into the scale, the company gets the ticket. in our new manual it says only a super or dock leader can seal your trailer, so make them do it and put the seal number on your manifest.
DO NOT LEAVED WITHOUT A SEAL ON YOUR TRAILER!!!!!!!!!!!! Even if they find one skid on there and you don't have the paperwork, it is YOUR FAULT if the trailer is not sealed, and we don't even need to talk about slipping a haz mat in there without bills (naw, that would never happen at Vitran would it??)
