Yeah, no credit card required because it's cash or wire transfer, not clicking on it to find out, its most likely a way for somebody to hack you, I had something malicious already try to get in, Anti-Exploit Malwarebytes Premium caught it and Hit man Pro

He isn't in Giants Stadium, That was just to throw off FBI, he is in a concrete pillar on I-80, or under a swimming pool in Northern Chicago or a Swamp in Florida or the Mob owned Factory that melted Iron, The Westies Gang handled that job, That is what my Uncle told me, he works for street dept.

I completely agree that's what is needed ,but a lot of people don't have integrity these days because they were never taught it by their parents or they have had supervisors/ authority figures that had none inadvertently teach them there was no need for it .

That's why we as DSR's have to police ourselves concerning damages. If you see a guy handling freight in a wreckless and careless manner, then it's up to you to step in and call him out on his bad behavior, attitude or both and challenge him to cut it out.

Yeah, I have seen that happen before on the dock, most of the time they will say something like you don't have a white shirt on...Even if you are making a polite suggestion

Why is there an Ukrainian girl in my post asking me to meet her, no credit card required? She is good looking

Why do you think this board exists...just to allow you to chit chat w/ your fellow DSR's on the latest speculations of the day concerning XPO and other carriers in general? No...the bottom line for this site is to generate revenue through advertising for the site's owner,( Ukrainian girl not withstanding).

How about just practicing a core value that CNW had... "Integrity", (defined as doing the right and honest thing)? Before I was put on the list at my barn many years ago, the SCM sat me down and asked me a bunch of questions. I think back on one question that he asked me , "How would you describe yourself as a person?" ...to which I responded..."I consider myself to be hard working , honest, committed, and conscientious." I think that SCM believed me cause he hired me that very day. And over all these years I've tried my very best to live up to those values ...especially being conscientious. Point? Everybody knows what the right and honest thing is to do. In order to reduce our damages, we have to own up to doing them, and take whatever consequences that are required. Then make a concerted effort to try to improve in the future. When I worked for another carrier years ago, a dock worker didn't get along w/ the I/b super...sooooo he purposely drove his fork blades through crates containing expensive pianos. Bottom line...we got to have "Integrity" in all areas of our business if we're going to survive. Just my take on how things can improve.

By the way...that LTL that I worked for where the guy wrecked freight on purpose...they went out of business about 5 years later. Not saying damages put them out, but paying unnecessary claims surely didn't do anything to keep that company alive.

If he would stop surfing p*on the ads would change. I don't have any Russian girls on my pages any where. It's all trucking jobs and vacation opportunities.

Yeah I know WK... it's not easy nor a very desirable thing to be doing w/ our peers, but we've got to at least try. Why? cause excessive dmgs may one day be the straw that breaks the camel's back. And then you'd have to start at the bottom somewhere else w/ no seniority, no PTO's, low pay scale, etc.

Well some times it's not new guy's, it's guys that's been here 20+ years, try and tell them guys they are doing something wrong way:duel::fingure:That's what happens

I know WK...it takes real guts, but it's our future, or lack thereof !!! We've got to take a stand for what's right irrespective of 'what happens.'

So I'm reminded of a movie every time my phone lights up with another post from hash-tag we are XPO. In the movie "In Good Company" starring Dennis Quaid, the company he works for gets purchased, people get let go, and the new boss thinks "synergy" is the answer to success. Sound familiar?
In the end, doing the job right the first time, simply and sincerely, satisfies the customer and creates a successful company.

So with the end of January we have released 190 more elements holding us back from our profit goals. Reducing and removing can only go so far. When will Brad or Tony walk into our facilities and listen to what success means to us on a daily basis? You can combine every aspect of global transportation to create transportation synergy. But if you can't handle the customer's freight without damages then we continue to do it for practice, because we all know you can't turn a profit buying your mistakes. Culture matters... our culture should be built on pursuing excellence, excellence when handling and loading freight, not the lack of excellence we currently accept when we open the trailer to unload.

At the end of the day you can buy and sell all the companies you want to build a corporation. But for us that depend on said corporation for our personal and family success, culture and engagement tell a much bigger story.

You're so right !

Merdock, here is the culture problem relative to this company. Culture is like tradition, it gets passed down and taught to new generations, senior drivers to newbies. What sort of lesson do the newbies get from a bunch of drivers who over the years have been screwed out of their pensions, annual bonuses, and vacations? Do you know how many senior drivers at my place tell me that this used to be a good company and now they're just here for the paycheck, waiting to retire? ALL OF THEM. Since the Conway acquisition by XPO, they have done nothing but cut our workforce, complained about dwell times, chopped overtime, and the latest announcement is they are going to withhold VPP and manager bonuses until the end of March? What's next? Paychecks bouncing? XPO has done nothing to improve the culture at this place and at the rate they're going, they might turn this place profitable in a couple of quarters, but at what cost? Talent leaving for the competitor? More damage claims? A more disgruntled work force? If XPO is going to succeed in the LTL biz, it needs to change its culture a little bit and start respecting it's new drivers.
