Is it normal for a driver of bid run gets their run cut and the dispatcher give them another drivers run that is different because their cut time is little later and then makes that driver late at getting out or even possibly getting their run cut? Seen this happening some and just curios as to why.

If you have multiple runs going to the same place at different cut times, the first cut will always be first, second will always be second and so on. Last cut is usually the one that has to go home. But if it’s being rotated because of lack of freight and everyone is cool with it, that changes it.

They were not going to same place. So far they have not did a rotation but maybe its coming.

Right now my area is busy
Ours be busy one week then slow and its seems to be slowing some more. I seen them cut 3 runs and send drivers home yet there were 4 covenant trucks in out front waiting for their loads. They are still hiring as well. Seen a couple of drivers in training. Some of the things they do is baffling.
