Sharpshooter and several others in here were once linehaul with Wilson.Bird still has several connections at Wilson and can give you some pretty reliable info.

Use to be. Bigbird can give you about as much info as anybody (and especially where to eat near the terminal)

Line haul start at 49 goes to 50 after 6 months and 52 after 1 year. Last raise was 8 or 9 years ago.

7.50 to unhook set and 7.50 to hook a set so a total of $15.00 for whole set.....most terminals have hourly paid guys do it so the road driver normally just drops set on yard

There's a lot of pay issues that would irritate you, coming from a union job.
Are you just looking to move to that area?

Yeah, pretty much the same story for all of them around there. Mostly, drive to Charlotte and work the docks.
There's Holland in Columbia, SC hiring for linehaul??

I'd be alittle worried to work at the Darlington Wilson barn. If they can close Asheville etc, they could easily close Darlington, it's surrounded by other terminals that could cover there ..just sayin
