A dab of Gorilla glue & a few strips of duck tape that should make that bridge good to go.

I could swear that tolls were to maintain bridges and roads.

Delaware is completely run by Democrats. Governor - Lt Governor - 2 US Senators - 1 US Representative in Congress. Any public funds they get, including tolls, goes directly towards their next election, in their pockets or to the DNC.
Now they will be at the head of the line asking for hand-outs of Federal money to fix state infrastructure (such as bridges neglected over the last 8 years).

All the excess traffic will probably kill the nearest alternative, The Burlington Bristol Bridge, which, by the way, is a drawbridge.

Maybe the folks on either side of the bridge will have to receive their goods via drones.

What are the local mob bosses or their "enforcers" going to do with the ones chosen for "forced retirement" ?
