That is what happens when you trust plantation masters like the democrats for decades...you voted them in and kept them in...live with it.

Hiroshima and Detroit: The Damage Democrats Do to the Poor Lasts Longer Than a Nuclear Bomb | FrontPage Magazine

These are possibly the 5 best sentences you’ll ever read and all applicable to this experiment:

    1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.

    2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.

    3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.

    4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it!

    5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation.

For one thing you eventually run out of other people's money. The whole idea of taking from one in the auspice of redistribution all you really do is share the misery , you never lift those up or give those in lesser positions the opportunity to lift themselves out of poverty.

These people were slaves, now, they have a chance to be set free.

The problem is, it is hard, so lets re-elect more lying scumbag Dems to continue to run the city into the ground,

["When my 9-year-old grandson asks me, 'Grandma, are they trying to make us slaves again?' how do I answer that child?" ]

Nine year old children do not say things like that unless they have absorbed it from adult conversations, most likely all their lives. It's sad that the cycle of dependency continues through generations like that. A child growing up surrounded by constant negativity has far less of a chance to break out and fend for himself.

the sad part is that they dont see the dependency akin to slavery.
You are not a free person if you are dependent on govt for your very existence.

It's hard to believe that with all of the negativity that comes from a "slavery" conversation, that Black parents would continue to hold a grudge for something that happened so long ago. Should history be taught to their children? Absolutely. But why don't they teach their kids about the history of what took place but turn it into a positive by accentuating the positives of today's culture, versus this "woe is me" stuff, which passes the animosity from generation to generation.
