XPO | Direction of Conway

Your choice now is to stay or go. You can work for them. With all that stuff they are going through. Probably need drivers.

And what we have taken away is a direct result of what they gave away.

No one is winning here. With or with out a union.

Really? Most of our perks were taken away BEFORE the union concessions. The last thing was the 5% pay cut & loss of vacation time and I believe that was 2009-10 which was this company using the YRC debacle as an excuse to get in your pockets again. That while "at least they didn't get 15% like YRC did" is all we heard. That "you can stay or you can go" mentality is what has cost us. No one says you have to have a union to stick together. You just have to be willing to stick up for others which no longer exists in this self centered world.

There are problems. Sure.

But I would rather address them in house. Than have some outsider come in with all of their problems.

The whole reason we have all these problems is because the union carriers are willing to take any cuts imaginable to keep their jobs.

Not my idea of standing up and being union strong.
theres not one problem that has been solved in house by the employees of conway. Your totally full of it. What's funny is it keeps getting worse and your in house solving center isn't worth 2 squirts of ****.

Oh my ' the irony of hypocrisy in this statement , unions are in disarray because of non-unions attempting to put said carriers out of business and its causing our problems at Conway but every other statement you make is to dis-credit , bash , maim, and polify anything unions stand for . In other words I dislike unions but I wish they were stronger so I personally wouldn't get screwed by non union Conway ..!
Time to check your self highspeeds and maybe be quiet for a bit .

I have a feeling that eventually you will. Especially after we see how many folks lose their jobs over 3 following too close events in a rolling 12 months...buncha city drivers on the way out.

That's not anything to get fired over..you don't even get written up for it...you can do better than that...I'm sure

No, it's not the same. The union gave them the CHOICE. They could've squashed the pay reduction and watched the company fold. The Yellow guy in my area has a better scanner than I do.
They vote on any and all changes to the pay/benefit scale they have. We just, well, get sh!$ taken away.
High speeds is right , yrc is hiring. Haha don't want to go there do ya.. and the changes with or without a vote...its all the same..there are plenty of guys voted no, but got what everybody else got....see..don't matter, if it needs to be done..then it will be done. Just be glad we're out of that mess now.

So now I'm not supposed to be for things that are in my best interest ?

I don't want to work for a union.

But if Joe's Towing Service goes union and it nets me better compensation. Well, hell yeah. I am all for it.

Since when did you begin this assault on common sense ? Do you feel you are winning ?

Or are you the Charlie Sheen leaving Denise Richards and flaking out on TV then marrying a pornstar kind of winning ?

I love when they tell me how great it would be to work for a union carrier.

And then you ask well why don't you ? They are hiring ?

Silence. Sometimes you hear some weak excuse like it's to far.

Ultimately the answer is they don't actually want to.

Or they would do like Rollin62 and roll around in a union truck.

I thought Denise Richards was a p*on star ..! And don't get your pantys in a wad because I was just supporting your insufficient hipocritical praise and rhetoric on the benifits of a union that you wish you had but dont really want .

That scene in Wild Things in the pool. Pretty hot. But not p*on.

Where did I praise unions ? Quote it.

I live in Ohio. If I wanted a union job. I'd have one. My previous job was teamsters.

In fact my current plan B. Should I get fired tomorrow is a union terminal. And we all know any day can be your last in this place.

I choose to work non union. And enjoy it.

Following too close is our biggest camera event problem. Policy says 3 of these events in a rolling 12 months and you outta here.

I've work nonunion must my life and now I am union. As far as my job and what I do, I notice absolutely no difference. Do your job and work as safe as you can and you will enjoy your job union or nonunion...

That image will be in my modem for life back when she was smoking hot and now just another burned out old hag bitc-en all the time posing for a spot in national geographic so old school fans can get a glimpse of a boob shot ..!
I'd stick with plan B. , never know when you will receive a pair Conway psychopumps and the Grim Reaper will escort you to the gate.

everything you have cut and pasted is accurate... except the attempt to attach drivecam events to the safety strike policy. Currently no event recorded by the camera results in safety policy violations. So three following too close events WILL NOT get you fired

currently there are five drivecam events that will result in progressive discipline, as defined in the employee policy, not in the safety policy

Future state??? yes, maybe 2015, the safety policy will be modified to include drivecam events.

We have been informed that policy becomes effective July 2014, after all service centers have completed installation and training. No reason to bs, just relaying what we have been told. If this isn't going to occur, we sure have guys going through the coaching routine for following too close quite often. If this wasn't coming, no need to coach. Only focus on the 5 willfulls.
