He balanced the budget with casinos and frakking. Those are one shot opportunities that won't come back again.

I agree. But the shortage is real. And our roster is old. And XPO is all about technology and youth. I can see this working against them as much as it goes for them. It will all sort itself out. There are only so many dinosaurs left. It will be fun to hear about how they try to train the refugees to speak English and use computers and get CDLs.

Do they just go straight to laying off dock or is there some form of seniority you guys go by?

Lay offs go by seniority. Part time dock if there are any, then full time dock, then drivers. The most senior dock hand will get laid off before a driver does, at least thats how its susposed to go.

In the past , there was supposed to be no such thing as layoffs , just economic termination. Does anyone know IF the layed-off people can come back to their same seniority level and benefits or do they start all over again?

You are so out of touch i see so many trailers come in to our barn all loaded by drivers and half the load is damaged. Get rid of the clowns that started space equals waste and Con-way could go up not down in the LTL world

the only thing you forgot to mention is we spent millions on these safe stacks then go use sub-standards! last night i was told by our driver who goes to xsx we unloaded a pure 23k of fisher plow components so they could put in a sub-standard.REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just Google "Hillary Clintons accomplishments" and you'll see a lifetime of success. No ones gonna change the way you think, except for yourself. While your at it, Google "President Obama's accomplishments" you might be a little surprised at all the good things he's done too. You cant deny facts, unless you have blinders on.

We don't bother making any kind of pures for XAG, zone or Canada anymore. They usually get stripped after the inbound is done and put on vans! You know Cowboy, don't you?
