Does anyone know what state you file your unemployment in?

    Can anyone help me with what state to apply in? I live in PA but the form with the Term letter says to send to NJ?

    Should be Nj. That is where you were employed. Everything was done thru the mail.

    See im not sure i pay PA taxes not sure about nj. Im goign to apply in both states.

    Check with your home state first...look at your paystub to see where you paid UE withholding.

    File in pa if that's where you live, if needed they will file against NJ

    I see UI/SDI FOR NJ BUT NOT UE

    HMMM IDK I filed in PA But im stil not sure what to do about the NJ part.

    You file in your home state, they will work with NJ to pay you.

    Went through this about 5 years ago, you file in the state you live.

    In PA you file where you work. Called the # for NJ and they did it manually. It can't be done on the computer if you live out of state.

    Yesyou do file in NJ i just did. And i know someone asked me either on here or facebook about ID for NJ. Well just click none in the box. That is all i did since it dont give you a spot to put your state id in.
