that is exactly what he did
the payment was to the insurance companies to offset losses that falsely kept premiums low
this was corporate welfare nothing more nothing less
and Trump stopped it, you should be happy those wall street fat cats are screwing the tax payer anymore

Lets just call it what it is
the left doesn't want insurance, they want coverage
insurance is a bet, I bet I will get sick they bet I wont, price is based on probability
you want people covered regardless of condition for a low rate- it doesn't work like that
furthermore, what Barry did was illegal, court has ruled it so thus all Trump did was send it to the correct department, if congress is too "over worked" how about putting in a good solid 30 hour work week for a change, cancel a few bi-weekly breaks and do the business of the American people

Wrong. The practice of giving tax payer's money to the insurance companies IS AN OBAMACARE POLICY. Trump said that he is going to put a halt to it, but now he's flip-flopped.

Are you so far off the deep end that you somehow think that this is a Trump policy?

But when that comment comes from a guy like Obama, who fails to even acknowledge the increasing costs, it falls on deaf ears. It's pretty obvious that anything pertaining to cutting costs in Obamacare would also require cutting some of his pet projects that most people don't need in their policy, so Obama would never allow those changes. So who would want to waste their time.

Obamacare didn't help the American people, it hurt them. Obamacare was one massive lie, and from that point forward, not a word that he said had an ounce of credibility.

No chance of that happening. Full blown Communism/Socialism on one side and Conservatism on the other, that's a lot of real estate in between the two.

They both know that the turd known as Obamacare needs flushed, and they're willing to do just about anything to hang that anvil around Trump's neck before it finishes collapsing. The question is, is he stupid enough to allow them to get away with it?

That's comical. The anarchist that are always on display come straight from the Democrat party.

Actually, the real AMERICANS all care about their taxes being lowered. The average Democrat wants more money in their paycheck, just like the average Republican does. If they don't, they're just stupid.

Your check won't change any regardless of whether we cut taxes and the rest of us have more money in our pocket or not.
You just enjoy seeing other people suffer. You rank way up there, as one of the most selfish freeloaders that I've ever ran in to.
    Just sayin'.

Trump and the Republican party are running out of options for success stories that can come before the midterms. If they continue to just kick the cans down the road, they'll lose power in 2018. They have the power right now, but you'd never know it.

Yep. But the leftists think that Obamacare was keeping the premiums low by paying these subsidies to the insurance companies. The fact is that the premiums to the citizens were doubling and tripling also, all while the citizen's tax dollars were getting stuffed into the pockets of the insurance companies.

    Bottom line:
Obamacare is nothing short of corporate welfare, just like you said, while breaking the backs of the American tax payers.
And the Democrats claim that they hate big corporations and want the help the citizens, when Obamacare does just the opposite? WTH?

The GOP is fractured because they have a few free thinkers, a "Maverick" or two, and a bunch of people who don't have the gonads to do what's right for the American people because it would go against their special interests.
Maybe they need to become more like the sheeple in the Democrat Party and just follow their leadership off the cliff.

What's right for the American people is subjective, hence all the turmoil within the Republican party.

What most of the Republicans and the rest of America feels about the Democrat policies has been on full display for our last few election cycles. Nearly everyone (70+%) recognized that the Democrat policies were leading our country in the wrong direction.
We will be eliminating our RINOs at our next opportunity. If they are in favor of Democrat policies, they need to change parties.

The Democrats follow in lock-step with their leadership, just like a bunch of sheep. Do you guys have anyone that speaks their mind or is a free thinker? If there is anyone, please let us know who.
Your side is like a bunch of drones, and even our Lib members on here NEVER say anything bad about your leadership. Free thinkers often have different opinions, something your party just doesn't have.

And the Achilles' heal of a two party system is most politicians have to move toward the middle to get elected which tends to make the parties more moderate. I would prefer a third major party...........Centrist Party, until then I'll remain an Independent.

The insurance commission in this state has approved increases in insurance premiums up to of 25% because of Obamacare for those who pay for those who won't pay for insurance. I know of many people in this state & surrounding states who have difficulty finding a doctor that will accept medicare. I talked this week with an older couple whose doctor retired & they have not found a doctor or clinic that will accept their medicare. These folks worked their entire life & paid into the fund that is in trouble because of Obama.

Pittsburgh Post Gazette reports this morning that prior to Mr. Trump's removal of the cost-sharing subsidies, UPMC had asked for a 7.99% hike in ACA rate hikes to consumers for 2018. They are now approved for a 41.1% rate hike. Highmark had sought a 20% increase of consumer costs,.....they now have approval for a 25.2% increase......Capital Advantage Insurance, the third largest player in Pennsylvania's Affordable Care Act pool of insurers, had asked for a 12.15% increase to charge their customers in 2018,......They are now approved for a 49.2% increase........

Highmark and UPMC,....insuring roughly 90% of Pa.'s ACA market,....have both stated they have no plans to exit the ACA.

Surely it can't be the insurance companies gaining a windfall from President Trump's Executive Order. He claimed they were the enemy,.....and "profiteering" off of Obamacare. I'm sure Mr. Trump wouldn't do anything to allow those nasty, immoral insurance companies to profit off of other people's misery?

The things you read in newspapers, nowadays........

In my area there seems to be no problem with medicare recipients getting to the doctors that I'm aware of.
You do need to get with a doctor who is accepting new patients, many who have been in business for a long time are about full up.
Some of the corporate doctors are booked according to the payer, they might have 20 slots per week for their workers comp patients, 30 for a particular insurance group and so on. I had one doctors whose corporate office gave my insurance carrier only a few slots per day.
I imagine straight medicare and or medicaid patients are similar with just so many slots.

But they all need to make a living so they do what they have to do.
We may have had a dream driving job we chased at one point but if you don't get it then you take something else.
Without Medicare and Medicaid a huge amount of doctors would go out of business in my opinion.
Who are they going to collect from, there is just so much to go around.
