Most places like to give out the stuff on the day shift so they can have photo ops with the office people and make it look like everyone is having a blast. In reality its s.o.s.

We all know it’s really office (management) appreciation. That’s who enjoys the freebies around here.

Visitor here. Our TM grilled burgers at home, brought them in for Line to microwave. Supervisor notified when all were at or on the way to work. I know I should be thankful, I’m just too embarrassed for them.

Honestly I don't either but it chaps my hide when one group gets treated nicely and the other like step children.

Remember that we were expendable, our lives and the health of our families have less value to the government than other occupations. And any lip service about people who worked through the COVID lockdowns was erased when the same government threatened and terminated people from their jobs from not taking a worthless shot, so Pfizer and moderns could increase profits and feed some of it back to the state and federal politicians.

I will say in the past the TM’s used to grill out and chop it up with the drivers a bit (and they should) but at this point it’s a joke. Crusty donuts, pizza, ice cream…What’s next? Chocolate milk and lullaby stories before we hit the street, lol
