According to a news release, Daniel J. Calhon, of Snohomish, Washington, told investigators he fainted Sunday afternoon while holding his breath in the Highway 26 tunnel near the community of Manning.

Looks like this dope is from my neck 'o the woods. Snohomish is a dairy farming community. He must be descended from the local dairy farmers.

Why not second degree assault since he was not, by his admission, AWAKE.

In June 2011, investigators say Lunsford was walking home in the same stretch of road wearing dark clothing and headphones when he was hit by an SUV. His family says he spent two weeks in a coma before recovering.

Oh well, sometimes, as stated, stupid can be fixed.

Moral is:
ALWAYS WALK FACING TRAFFIC and WEAR LIGHT COLORED OR REFLECTIVE CLOTHING AT NIGHT!!

A little common sense may save YOUR life.
