At least you have an AM and PM extra board... ours is a complete wheel. Doesn’t matter if you’ve been up all day, if you want to work you go when they call.
Exactly. Same way our yard works. Bounce around from nights to days to nights to days. At least you guys have an idea of when you’ll be called.

They don't get, they buy them. Then everyone wonders why those top board guys always work extra on the weekends when their bid run alone pays 6 figs a year.

Studies have shown that the peak quality of life and happiness occurs at $75k/year. Any earnings on top of that bring more buying power yet return no gain in happiness or contentment.

These guys here in COH with the AM or PM wild schedules don't even understand what it was like when we ran wild. You're available at 5am and they call you at 10pm. Also used to be forced to run until 70 was out when we were busy. On top of the AM or PM they had a set 5 days that they work, not around the clock. On weekends when we're busy, not nearly enough extra board working extra past their 5 days to help out. No whining, you've got a dream driving job for starting out.
Yeah!!! And make sure you do it both ways uphill... And in the snow too... Your gonna work 70 hours a week.. And you're gonna like it maggots!!
When I ran wild we had just as many day runs as night runs and you were to be available for anytime 7 days a week. I would be happy with the AM PM schedule thing.
