Personally I think it was the best decision for Mr. Shevell to make. Mr. Bare is very unliked in this industry and the last thing NEMF needs in this time of slow freight is a CONWAY man leading it. CONWAY has it's own set of issues at the moment. Let's all wake up and face the facts Mr. Shevell will be selling NEMF within the next three years to a company called SAIA

That would be an issue. No decent union would ever let NEMF out of a contract and hurt the men...

Mike B was from the start knew him from the early CCX days when he was a green TM, thought drivers were scum and his poop didn't stink you guys are better off with out him ,what about his buddy Nick D also from CCX is he going also???

2006 was the worst financial year in NEMF's history...so with JK retiring MB was brought in to get the ship righted.

It simply came down to (IMO) fundemental differences of opinion on how to get to $1B in sales in 5 years.

The reason for the expansion was to tap into new markets to generate new sales since the Northeast is struggling.

Regardless of the politics at the executive level business comes down to one thing...

Are you making enough money to support your family and is where you are working a good work environment? If the answer to one of these questions is no...then find another company where you can answer these questions with yes...

if your attitude is to find another company, then you will have lost every employee that built this one and is still loyal to nemf. therefore nemf will not exist and be like the rest you only read about in books now. maybe the company should care about its workers in the trenches and not how much it should pay its executives to mess the whole operation up. we need a cleanout of higher management and not the worker that pulls every day for the greater good. you have a poor attitude, and may be the reason why this place is failing. it only seems to get worse every day. what is your position with the company? that may state alot!!!!

can any one answer me this how do you take a guy that just decided to make his career in salesand picks trucking as his first job
he spends six years doing that and then wants to be term mgr. and gets it still not even sitting his butt in a truck yet and after onlythree mths. can't handle it (only 15 drivers) and then gets hired at nemf as term mgr of 40 drivers

Well the question is where is he now? I had my personal issues with the man from my old Conway days, it would be good to know where he is so I don't bump into him again anytime soon.
