In St Paul we get inbound trailers that have had recent annual inspections. The inspection, signed by a certified mechanic says the trailer passed inspection. We put some of them out of service due to defects that could not possibly happen in so short a period of time from a propper inspection. Brake problems, bald tires, cracked frames are the most common problems. These things are not missed by the mechanic, they are ignored. This has been going on for more than a decade. The company can't "not know" so i think between some of our mechanics and some of shop management this is done on purpose. Who is being held accountable?
