There are additional options such as legal, pet insurance, etc.

so no option for employee + spouse ? you have to pay the Family Rate for 2 adults?
Correct. Probably the main disappointing aspect. That subsidizes the other options. Single, single parent, etc.

For most, the cheaper option is best. I put the $50-$60/week difference in credit union, just in case. If I don't need it, that pays for most of a decent vacation.

With the provided reimbursement account, I've only had to dip into that fund one year. It covers the total of most routine stuff, but NOT Rx.

well that makes for a very expensive choice that I have to make. Do they offer a HSA in your plan? Usually the high deductible plans include that option.

I don't see a copay for DR visits? Just a percentage value. How much do you guys pay to see your DR,s ? Specialist ? for just the visit itself ?

yes, you have to do it on your own in a HSA. the company gives you an HRA of between $600-900,depending on your if single, employee w children or family. Also we have a FSA option if you want to save money too.

If your want to go to the best non-union LTL trucking company fedex freight is it for sure if compare equipment, 401k, health, pay, growth long term.

This is exactly why the UPSF guys are Delusional for wanting to strike. even more so at top scale. from all the numbers I have been running, Fdxf has the best compensation Culture and growth. The glaring issue is the health care. But after doing the numbers on the high deductible plan and the higher starting wage combined with a HSA it might work out to about $150 more take home per week at fdxf since I am just starting the progression at UPSF. Health benefits are a huge drain on companies. This may be why UPSF has not grown its LTL in the last 15 years.

Yeah you'll fit right in there, huge drain on companies just dump it on the workers, F them. If you seen the teamsters H+W plan you won't believe your eyes. Ups is on track to make 6 billion I don't think its a drain to pay descent health insurance.

Then move.

A majority of ANY companies had pretty decent healthcare till ObamaCare came along and demanded they pay for all kinds of crap MOST people didn't need.

Screwed up everyone's healthcare and most CERTAINLY didn't result in "IF YOU LIKE YOUR DOCTOR OR HEALTHPLAN YOU CAN KEEP IT" (lying *******).

So even today our health plans are still mandated to pay for Obamacare BS because it's never been repealed.
