Yesterday went to a Steak and Shake with my wife and son.

Took ever forever to get waited on
My wife was refilling our drinks
the food came out (eventually) it was wrong

Yes, $15 an hour will fix all that

Giving billions to shyster CEO'S and big investors doesn't seem to have done anything any better in any other industry either.
But it did result in this.
    More free trade!
Burger flippers and shelf stickers will make a fantastic country.......falling.

we will all work for the govt in one form or another
    Big Brother is here

the fight for $15 rewards incompetence, people too lazy to try and better themselves, people that put no value on education, people that made bad choices over and over again

The " choices" are created by and for somebody in political ways.

When you go the " conservative" route you are still serving big brother.....for if a politician serves so-called conservative masters for their own gain, you still serve big brother......and it makes things very easy for the conservative masters to gain. Competition is won

.... most easily by those who define it and pay for the rules to be made their way.
Should the rules and definition of competition change to benefit the uneducated workers....I will be first to tell the educated investors that they made poor life choices and their own work ethics and laziness is why they became poor and lost everything

If these people have all this energy and the resources to fight for 15 why not just invest in a trade school instead? Just saying.

McD's might start that Academy on adviçe from the greedy banks.
You'll have to have a bank loan and degree if you want to flip burgers for $15/hour.
And they'll do it for everything else too.
Slave to bank debt is now required in this country of freedom and liberty for world banks.

Getting knocked up in high school once or twice, is not a decision made by some banker
It is a bad choice made by two people
Of course I guess you could go the route of the "extreme" cost of birth control
$9 for the pill $8 for a box of condomns
Plenty of money for tats and smokes

Not everything os someone else's fault, the conservative line is personal responsiblity
You are responsible for your choices and actions

You get what you pay for, pay crap wages, get crap workers. One article I read indicated that one specific company was going to hire higher quality people and give them more responsibilities to justify the wages, not a bad thing if you ask me.

If French fries is the only thing left to make......I'd hope we rethink what free trade is doing for us.
The skills left with the jobs.
    2 choices left-communism/socialism
    or third world.

    The left prefers communism
The right prefers third world slaves.

    apparently

    maybe, but I doubt it
there is a real sense of entitlement in this country, especially with the youth. They think there "efforts" (or lack there of) entitle them to more money
They all want a trophy for showing up

We have 4 McD's in my area.. I see young folks working their way through college, high school and votech, but all 4 employ older folks to supplement their income due to rising healthcare costs. I can't say they take too much time, but I can say they need to improve the upkeep on the buildings. All 4 are the older designed buildings and starting to look a little ratty.. Very clean on the inside, just looking bad on the outside...

Those have to be the folks that don't want to better themselves or want to make McD's a permanent stay..

I still can't believe someone can work at a minimum wage job and think this is what I'm going to do for life. There are trade schools can't outsource HVAC, nursing schools can't outsource that, truck driving schools ect. All with plenty of financial help I'm sure.
Things always did take a little self motivation and responsibility.
Someone who assumes they can't improve their situation is a loser by definition.

Loser would be a word I like to stay away from, but, lack of self motivation is acceptable. Psychological evaluation is not needed, before you guys over react. Motivation is within, either you have it or it has to be installed.. Example, I thought when I left the auto sales industry in 1977, I made a promise to myself, never to return. Not that I couldn't sell, I just didn't like the direction I seen the industry going. The same in the trucking industry. When I didn't agree, I had my time in and retired. To make a long story short, I'm back in the auto industry because the direction it was going in the 70's,80's and 90's didn't last. Technology forced the direction to change. Very few people I help every single day, do I have to work all day to sell a vehicle. The power of the internet has taken folks to a whole new level on being educated to might near everything. So the lack of motivation is what I call it and lazy could creep into the picture also.. Remember, no one learns to walk, without not being afraid in taking that first step...

The majority of the folks at the fast food joints work there for a reason. And it isn't because of their vast array of talents.

    That is :horseshit:.

The bad life "choices" have been made by the workers themselves. I've had several relatives and other people that I knew the history on, that worked at the low paying jobs. And the majority of them have made so many bad choices that it was almost laughable. They put themselves into that crap job.

You can spin it into blaming politics if you choose to, but they made their own bed, now they have to sleep in it.
